Penny Fleming, dear friend and founder of the GRCT

Dear friends and supporters

You may have heard the very sad news that our founder, Penny Fleming, passed away last week. She fought valiantly for more than 9 months, following an accident which caused a severe spinal injury.

Even when in great pain and discomfort, Penny touched the lives of the staff and other patients during her long stay in hospital.  She also proudly continued to spread the word about the work of the GRCT, often with a leaflet on offer!

Penny is now with the Lord whom she loved and whom she served faithfully. We will miss Penny very much, as a dear friend and fellow trustee of the GRCT.

As trustees, we continue the work Penny began. Penny leaves a truly inspiring legacy, which we will seek to honour.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Fleming family at this time, two of whom are fellow trustees.

The GRCT trustees.
